Happy New Year! 2024 Recap

Happy New Year, Everyone! I hope today finds you healthy and happy, content with tucking 2024 well behind you. 2024 was rough for many of us, and if you managed to escape her awkward gifts of misbegotten luck foisted on our shoulders when we weren’t looking, good on ya! For the rest of us, what a weird year. Everything was strange, and I felt like I was coming out of a drug-filled haze where I woke up on the other side of the world.

In some ways, I did. I’m not clear on the other side of the world, and I’m not regretting taking the wrong toke of a stranger’s promise of Maui Wowie, but I did wake up finding myself on my home continent and wondering…

What the everloving….!?

Yet here I am, and here we are. I’m making the most of my strange luck, and I hope you are, too.

The 250th episode is coming up for The Whizbanger Show, and while I planned a livestream on Facebook, things didn’t come together, so I decided I needed a break. I’m working hard to make things bigger and better for the show and continue bringing you the best of the heaviest underground every week.

I also have high hopes of Spotifying and YouTubing The Whizbanger Show! Many of you have already filled out the release form (Thank You!!), and if you haven’t heard from me yet, you will. You can also get a beat on it by clicking the link below and filling it out. Spotify is leading the way in creating challenges for little guys like me to spread the music podcast love around the world, so I need two (yes, two!) licenses - music and sound - to get this show legally out there. It still might not be enough, but a gal’s gotta try, right? Right-O!
